Moscow Russia Tourist Information and Travel Guide

This photograph was taken in Moscow in July of 1971.  It shows a man reading state censored "news" from government controlled newspapers (Pravda, Izvestia).

The Russian word "Pravda" ironically means "The Truth". At the left of the photo, a government display highlights the economic achievements of the Soviet Union.
